Travelling to Montreal and need to work out some kinks? Pack your whitest whites and prepare to join over 2,000 other yogis (or yogi wannabes) on July 28 in a free morning yoga class in the city’s Olympic Park. Sponsored by Quebec-based activewear company Lolë, the event starts with a 9 a.m. musical performance by local composer Marie-Michèle Beausoleil; at 10:30 a.m., guests will line up on their mats (provided by Lolë) for 90 minutes of stretching, balancing and strengthening with well-known local yoga teacher Lyne St-Roch. Register online to reserve your spot, and if you can’t make it that day, don’t despair – Montreal groups like the Montreal Outdoors Adventure Club will also help you find your outdoor-yoga groove.
